Article One

The A.I.E.J.I. Association's name shall be
the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SOCIAL EDUCATORS

By SOCIAL EDUCATORS, it must be understood that this means professionals with degrees who work with children, the youth, adults, and all persons who, due to troubles with respect to their constitution, environmental circumstances or both conditions together, are suffering from difficulties in adapting and therefore in need of special social pedagogical measures.

The Associations's headquarters have been established in Geneva (Switzerland). Its headquarters can be transferred to any other location by decision of the Executive Board. This is a non-profit association.
